STP arrête Twitter si…
Il n’y a pas de règles sur Twitter, aucune bonne façon de faire, simplement la sienne. Chacun l’utilise à sa manière, et on sait tous qu’il suffit d’unfollower un compte si il nous dérange. Reste qu’à titre personnel, je pense qu’il y a des tweets/comportements pas vraiment cohérents. Des travers qui poussés à leur extrême amèneront justement vos followers à vous quitter. Donc STP arrête Twitter si…
- Tu confonds vie sociale et réseaux social : c’est triste !
- Tu tweet toutes les 5 minutes que tu es à une super soirée, que là tout de suite tu parles avec @chuck et @norris. Si c’est le cas, c’est que ta super soirée se passe sans toi : c’est encore plus triste !
- Tu poses trop de (mauvaises) questions : tu veux l’avis de tes followers sur un produit, soit. Pour le reste, accroche toi car je vais te révéler un secret : GOOGLE.
- Tu ne parles que de toi : à ne faire que de l’auto-promo, il n’y aura bientôt plus que toi pour parler de…toi.
- Tu utilises Twitter pour (trop) converser : 1, ça pollue la timeline. 2, ça n’a aucun intérêt pour personne. MSN c’est old-school, mais très pratique. Ou le téléphone tiens, une merveille cette petite chose!
- Tu mendies des followers : c’est comme si tu suppliais des gens pour être tes amis. Ça ne marche pas.
- Tu réponds toujours à la question « What are you doing ? » : mange tes pâtes plutôt que de les tweeter. Ça refroidie vite, les pâtes.
- L’estime que tu te portes est basée sur ton nombre de followers. Pire, tu t’en vantes : le e-penis, c’était juste pour rigoler…
- Tu écris dans ta bio que tu es « expert Twitter » : tu fais rire tout le monde.
- Ton avatar c’est le sosie de Britney Spears, et que c’est pas de la glace qu’elle suce. Et tous les autres comme toi.
- Tu passes ton temps à te plaindre, râler, régler tes comptes : avoir une opinion, c’est bien. Être dans le négativisme constant, c’est vraiment fatiguant. Et comme dans la vraie vie, ce que les gens retiendront de toi, c’est que tu es un chiant.
- Tu fais une couverture en direct des émissions tv : si je la regarde pas ton émission, c’est que j’en ai rien à faire. Et si ça m’intéresse, et bien… je la regarde.
- Tu les détestes, ces TwitterSnob : c’est pas parce que toi tu t’intéresses à la mécanique que le mécano est lui passionné par ta production de fromage bio au lait de brebis. T’es jaloux, et bien fais en sorte d’être intéressant. Mais ça, ça demande du travail, alors arrête de chialer et au boulot! Et un jour, peut-être, la consécration arrivera: on dira de toi que tu es un TwitterSnob.

En tant que grande livetweeteuse et énorme bavarde devant l’éternel, je m’inscris en faux.
Twitter comme tu le dis au début, c’est ce que chacun veut ou peut en faire. Si je n’aime pas ce que dit/écrit quelqu’un, libre à moi de ne pas le suivre.
L’intérêt de twitter est de pouvoir façonner sa time-line à sa façon, en y gardant ce qu’on aime.
Je crois à la liberté d’expression, sur twitter ou ailleurs, et si cela ne me plait pas (et pourvu que ce ne soit pas répréhensible civilement ou pénalement), ben, je peux toujours un-follower, comme on dit en bon franglais. Libre à tous d’écrire à sa guise… et à moi de ne pas suivre.
Je ne te recommande pas de me suivre, tu n’aimerais pas… et c’est dommage parce que nos échanges pourraient être instructifs.
Amuses-toi bien sur twitter cependant parce que c’est, avant tout, un endroit ludique où faire d’amusantes et parfois belles rencontres.

Très bonne réflexion. Je suis particulièrement d’accord concernant le passage où tu parles des personnes polluant notre Time Line Twitter avec leurs updates. Je ne vois absolument pas l’intérêt pour ma part de savoir que un tel est dans tel restaurant où qu’un autre vient d’arriver à son boulot (il veut montrer à son employeur qu’il est ponctuel ? ).

Perso je trouve que c’est le genre d’appli qui fait que twitter pourrait ressembler de plus en plus à Facebook et de moins à moins à un reseau social.
Chacun joue dans son coin et on compare les résultats dans la timeline.

C’est déjà très fortement le cas aux USA où des milliers de bars/restaurants proposent des réductions lorsque l’on passe à proximité et que l’on prouve que l’on utilise Foursquare.

Ah ah, là du coup tu parles de DisMoiOù, son principal concurrent, qui couvre tous ces critères.
Foursquare sera (au même titre que Google Wave) performant le jour où il sera utilisé massivement. Et j’ose y croire.

Merci beaucoup pour ton éclairage. Je m’y suis inscris récemment (tu m’as retrouvé d’ailleurs ) mais je n’ai pas encore testé réellement le service (utilisation du smartphone dans le lieu checké etc).
Ton article ne joue pas en sa faveur. Tant pis pour Foursquare !
Est-ce que tu as pensé à faire un comparatif avec Dismoiou (le concurrent français) ?
